Hadiths Are False? - The True Origins of Hadith

Picture

Are the hadith collections really the words of God's Messenger? Let us analyze further into the true origins of Hadith, how such texts have diverted believers away from the Quran, and how believers have instead been usurped towards a religion called Islam.

To begin, we must remember that the Quran is clear; the idea of blindly following anyone goes deeply against the teachings of the Quran:

"And do not uphold what you have no knowledge of. For the hearing, eyesight, and mind, all these you are responsible for." (Quran 17:36)

The Quran advocates the human being to use reason, to not blindly follow the masses:

"The worst creatures with God are the deaf and dumb who do not reason." (Quran 8:22)

"And He is the One who gives life and brings death, and to Him is the alteration of the night and the day. Do you not reason?" (Quran 23:80)

"He has misled mountain loads of you. Did you not reason?" (Quran 36:62)

Moreover, God opposes the popular notion of clergymen or other religionists, which have drifted people from devoting themselves to God:

"Then We sent in their tracks Our messengers. And We sent Jesus, son of Mary, and We gave him the Gospel, and We ordained in the hearts of his followers kindness and mercy. But they invented Monasticism which We never decreed for them. They wanted to please God, but they did not observe it the way it should have been observed. Consequently, We gave those who believed among them their recompense, while many of them were wicked." (Quran 57:27)

"They have taken their Priests and Monks to be patrons besides God, and the Messiah, son of Mary, while they were only commanded to serve One god, there is no god except He, be He glorified against what they set up." (Quran 9:31)

The gravest crime made by the self-appointed scholars was to give authority to the man-made traditions (Sunnah) and the books of so called sayings (Hadith) alongside the authority of God. They believe that it was God who authorized such action by commanding the people to "obey God and obey the Messenger":

"Whoever obeys the messenger has obeyed God; and whoever turns away, We have not sent you as a guardian over them." (Quran 4:80)

What is so sadly neglected is that the most critical aspects of the Prophet’s life have been recorded and captured in the most detailed manner, not in the man-made books of Hadith, but in the Holy Book itself. This even includes such details as questions that were asked to him directly, and the answers (inspired by God) he gave:

"They ask you about intoxicants and gambling. Say: 'In them is great harm, and a benefit for mankind; but their harm is greater than their benefit.' And they ask you how much are they to give, Say: 'The excess.' It is thus that God clarifies for you the revelations that you may think." (Quran 2:219)

"And they ask you concerning the Spirit. Say: 'The Spirit is from the command on my Lord, and the knowledge you were given was but very little.'" (Quran 17:85)

The list of questions and answers goes on throughout the Book of God, this is the life of the Prophet, and this is the "obedience" given to the Prophet. Without "obeying the Messenger", we would inadvertently ignore nearly 1/3 of the Quran which deals with his actual narrations authorized and inspired by God which we have been commanded to follow:

“Nor does he speak from personal desire. It is a divine inspiration." (Quran 53:3-4)

In contrast, the radical Islamists claim that the Quran mandates the following of hadiths. They make such a claim by taking this verse out of context:

"Take what the messenger gives you and abstain from what he forbids you." (Quran 59:7)

Above was a small part of a whole verse quoted in isolation, out of context. The verse in full form is in the context of a war and reads:

"Whatever gains God has turned over to His messenger from the inhabitants of the villages belong to God, the messenger, kinsfolk, orphans, the needy, and the traveler. This is explained so that you do not just circulate it among those of you who are rich, take what the messenger gives you and abstain from what he forbids you. Be mindful of God, God is severe in punishment." (Quran 59:7)

It is clear that the portion:

"take what the messenger gives you and abstain from what he forbids you."

is referring to the booty of war recovered which the Prophet will distribute to those in need.

Muslims usually take this portion of the verse and quote that part only, in an attempt to deceive people that the Prophet has forbidden more things that were not found in the Quran. They do this to form a completely different meaning than the one intended by God to serve their own religious agendas and to manipulate the masses.

God says the following with regards to those who take portions of God's verses out of context to deliberately hide or twist their meanings for vain gains:

"Among them is a group who distort the Book with their tongues so that you think it is from the Book when it is not from the Book. They say, 'it is from God', but it is not from God. They tell a lie against God and they know it." (Quran 3:78)

Another popular verse that is claimed to support the following of hadiths is 33:21, where God says that Muhammad is an excellent example to follow:

Certainly, the messenger of God is an excellent example for whoever seeks God and the Last Day, and remembers God frequently. (Quran 33:21)

The context of the verse is a battle where Muhammad’s courage and devotion to God serves as an excellent example for the believers, both at the time of the revelation, as well as for future generations, as the Quran is timeless. This “excellent example” provided by the Prophet during a battle does not at all indicate that you would have to follow questionable texts that were attributed to Muhammad two centuries after his death by people who never even met him.

Another example that proves the deceptions used by Muslims to manipulate verse 33:21 for their own gain, is the following verse where “Abraham and those with him” are also said to be “good examples”:

Certainly, there is for you a good example in Abraham... (Quran 60:4)

Does 60:4 imply that we should follow the hadiths and sunnah of Abraham? We obviously do not have hadiths and sunnah of Abraham, thus the good example provided by Abraham is no other than the example narrated in the Quran itself.

Muhammad and Abraham are therefore both shown providing good (and sometimes bad) examples in the Quran and this is certainly not a hint that we should follow other than what is mentioned in the Quran, and absolutely not dubious texts that were written by Persian intelligence agents 200 years after the revelation. What we are witnessing here are the many desperate measures that Muslims use to try to manipulate the word of the Quran to claim that we should follow their idolatrous texts.

Furthermore, the Quran provides numerous instances of the clear command to "follow God and His messenger":

(3:32) Say: “Obey God and the messenger”; and if they turn away, then indeed God does not love the disbelievers.

(4:13) These are God’s limits; and whoever obeys God and His messenger, he will admit him to gardens below which there are flowing streams.

On another note that does tie with this accordingly, the doctrine of the trinity has also become an unquestionable belief in the Christian world, which in some ways, is very similar to the "do not question anything" dogma that Muslims have attached to the texts of Hadith. Just like it is the case for the trinity in Christian circles, every Muslim is taught from childhood that the texts of hadith are unquestionable, and that anyone who does not believe in them is considered an infidel.

There is not one court of justice in the world that would give any credit to a testimony that has been passed down orally for two hundred years before it was eventually written down. Why wasn’t that testimony been written down right away to begin with if it is that reliable? This unreliable chain of oral transmission through countless people from one person to another is what is referred to as; Chinese whispers, hence why the title of our book: "Chinese Whispers: The Birth of Islam".

It is unfortunately a common trait for the masses to have a strong tendency to follow the crowd, especially when it comes to religion, and this is why many people, some even being very intelligent, still fail to see how ridiculous the insanities they follow in the name of religion truly are, and by "religion" here, I make it clear that it makes no difference whether they subscribe to the traditional religions like Islam, Judaism, or Christianity, or to the modern religions like Scientism, Feminism, or Multiculturalism, both require blind, unquestioning obedience, a trait that forms the foundation of all cults.

A reasonable question to the Muslims would be; when God in the Quran commands to "Obey Him and the messenger", does this equate to "following hadiths which will be written down 200 years after this revelation"? Such questions though, are quickly shut down in the world of Islam.

The Islamic cult is very much against the using of reason or any thinking outside the norm, in fact, such thoughts are seen as "innovation", or "bidah" as they call it in Arabic. While in the Western world, the term "innovation" is seen in a positive light, in the Muslim world however, being called an "innovator" equates to something along the lines of being called a "heretic", and thus under Islamic law, such an individual must be eliminated immediately. This is perhaps why much of the Muslim world is backwards, primitive, and in absolute despair.

Nonetheless, as a response to the radical Islamists, here is some "heretical" reasoning for you:

(1) When Muhammad was alive, the believers had the obligation to obey him. We read in the Quran that the Prophet would never issue something outside of the Quran or something that would contradict with the Quran.

(2) Now that Muhammad is dead, we have to obey God and the Prophet directly from the Quran itself, and certainly not the unreliable fables written down 200 years after his death by authors who may or may not be intelligence agents belonging to the clan of the defeated Persians.

Chinese Whispers

The term "Chinese whispers" refers to the process of any piece of information that becomes corrupted through the verbal transmission of that information through a number of people.

The following is an example:

The lecturer in a college course was talking about the verbal transfer of information, demonstrating the effect of verbal transfer of information on altering an original message.

He asked 10 people to come forward from his audience. He then asked 9 of them to leave the hall, and then gave the one in the hall a small piece of paper to read out to the audience .....

The man read the following extract from the Bible:

"After this Jesus went down to Capernaum in company with his mother and followers and his disciples, but they did not stay there long. As it was near the time of the Jewish passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem. There he found in the temple the dealers in cattle, sheep and pigeons, and the money-changers seated at their tables. Jesus made a whip of cords and drove them out of the temple, sheep, cattle, and all."

After that, the lecturer took the piece of paper from the first man and put it in his pocket. He then called the 2nd man in, and asked the first man to repeat to the 2nd man the words that he had just read out from the paper.

The man said the following:

"After this Jesus went down to Capernaum in company with his mother and his disciples, and they stayed a long time. After that Jesus went back to Jerusalem. Beside the temple he saw people who were buying cattle and pigeons, he also saw money-changers. Jesus kicked them all out."

Now the lecturer asked the third man to come in and asked the second man to repeat what he had just heard from the 1st man. He in turn said:

"After this Jesus went down to Jerusalem with his mother and some of his disciples and stayed for a couple of days ... After that Jesus went back to the temple. Beside the temple he saw people who were buying cattle and pigs, he also saw money-changers. Jesus shouted at them and told them they were wicked."

Once again the next man came in , and the message was repeated as follows:

"One day Jesus was in Jerusalem with his mother where he was was for many years ... but one day Jesus left Jerusalem and went to a far away. Beside the temple he saw people who were buying horses and pigs, he shouted at them for having so much money and told them that money was wicked."

By the time the next man narrated the same story it became:

"Jesus was born in Jerusalem and lived with his mother for many years there ... one day Jesus went to the market place in Jerusalem and in the market he saw people who were riding horses and selling pigs, he shouted at them for having so much animals and money asked them to give their money to charity for it is wicked."

In turn, the next man said the following:

"Jesus was born in Jerusalem and lived with his mother all his life ... one day Jesus went to the market place in Jerusalem and in the market he saw people who were riding horses and selling pigs, he shouted at them for their cruelty to the animals and asked them to give up all their money or to make sure their animals are well fed."

In turn, the next man said the following:

"Jesus was born in Jerusalem and lived near a market place where there were lots of people mistreating the poor pigs and whipping their horses ... one day Jesus went to the market place and saw those wicked people who were only interested in selling their pigs, they were very loud and rude to him, so he did not reply back but cursed their money and left ..."

The reader is now invited to go back and read the first account of this story and then once again read this last one which was only the 6th new narration!

What is also important to note is that this incident took place in a period of 10 minutes in a lecture, which would mean all participants would have good reason to remember the content of the message. What would be the case with hadith, of which a large portion of them being pages long that were transmitted through multiple people (6-10 different men) and over a period of 200-500 years?

We must also note that the ten men in the lecture were all honestly trying to repeat the story as best as they can remember. We cannot accuse any of them of deliberately trying to corrupt the story they were narrating, though speculations can be made based on their personal backgrounds.

What this indicates is that the corruption in transmission is not always necessarily due to bad character or the dishonesty of the narrator, but rather due to the altering of the facts through a sequence of verbal transmissions. These transmissions were from humans who cannot be expected to have tight proof memories.

Nonetheless, most Islamic scholars have assessed the authenticity of hadith through a character reference of the narrators. If the narrator was of "good character" then they would label the hadith as authentic, or "sahih" in Arabic. Which is hard to prove since only God truly knows what's in the heart and the soul.

Ultimately, a story narrated across 200 years by 6 to 10 different men in a chain is very difficult to authenticate.

Cleansing of Bukhari and Muslim

Jamal al-Banna published a book in which he argues that at least 653 of the hadiths as written in Bukhari and Muslim are incorrect and should not be accepted. The Arabic book is titled: The Cleansing of Bukhari and Muslim from Useless Hadiths (2008).

Jamal al-Banna excludes six kinds of hadiths:

* Those that explain the Quran: the Quran can’t by explained by hadiths.
* Those that talk bad about women – like the one’s that call them equal to dogs and cows and to beat them up and so on.
* Those that forbid the freedom of religion and that threaten those who leave Islam.
* Those with extreme ideas for encouraging people into Islam and the ones threatening people with physical violence.
* Those that talk about Muhammad’s miracles.
* Some others of which he thinks are innaccurate.

Sunni-Shia Fiasco

When following the Quran, we know that there is no such thing as sects (or "madhabs" in Arabic) according to God's system. There is no Shia or Sunni. These divisions and conflicts are the results of following the texts of hadith.

Sunnis and Shias have been at each other's throats for centuries. Shias have their own set of hadith, and Sunnis have their own set, both coming centuries after the death of Muhammad. Both Sunnis and Shias are claiming that their sets of hadith are authentic.

Again, the Prophet Muhammad's entire life is clear in the Quran, if by following the Quran alone, there would be no need for such division:

"Indeed, those who divide their doctrine and become sects - you are not with them in anything. Their affair is only to God. Then He will inform them about what they used to do." (Quran 6:159)

"But the people divided their doctrine among them into sects - each faction, in what it has, rejoicing." (Quran 23:53)

"And We have revealed the Book to you which has clear explanation of everything, and a guidance, mercy and good news for those who submit." (Quran 16:89)

"Surely, the One who made the Quran compulsory for you will summon you to a predetermined appointment. Say: 'My Lord is fully aware of who it is that brings the guidance, and who has gone astray.' " (Quran 28:85)

"When they are told: 'Follow what God has sent down to you,' they say: 'We are following what we found our fathers doing.' " (Quran: 2:170)

"Do you have another book which you study? In it you find whatever you wish to find?" (Quran 68:36-38)

"Say, 'My prayers, sacrifice, my life and death are all for God, Lord of all the Worlds.' " (Quran 6:162)

“Believers, bow down, prostrate yourselves, worship your Lord and do good deeds so that you may succeed.” (Quran 22:77)

Prophet Muhammad on the Day of Judgement

Most Muslims today are unaware of what the Quran says about concepts of faith and carry many views on the Quran that are distorted and falsified because they have no direct knowledge of the verses. It is of no surprise that God informs us of a statement of the Prophet Muhammad on the Day of Judgement:

(25:30) And the Messenger will say: O my Lord, my people have deserted this Quran.

From the verse above we see that Muhammad will complain against his people (the Arabs), whom have deserted the Quran. Clearly that time has come now as most Muslims today follow the texts of hadith instead of following the Quran. You cannot consistently choose to follow both, as they are contradictory with one another, you can only choose one; either it's the hadiths or the Quran, and I have a great feeling that if forced to choose, most Muslims would actually choose the former.

Prophet Muhammad Didn't Create His Own Teachings

The Prophet never created any teachings or rulings of his own, he was merely the Messenger of God, his job is to bring the message, ie the Quran, to the people, and nothing more. He never taught anything contradictory to the Quran. However, when looking through the countless books of hadith, we see numerous fabricated laws that contradict God in the Quran.

Since the Quran tells us that the Prophet upheld all the teachings of the Quran, the choice to accept these secondary teachings of hadith, which violate the Quran, is in fact disobeying the Messenger! The Messenger has not said a single word mentioned in the texts of hadith! If a Quranic verse contradicts a certain hadith, then it is not possible for that hadith to be valid and truthful. The Quran reaffirms that the Prophet would have been destroyed if he issued a teaching that contradicts the Quran:

This is the utterance of an honorable messenger. (Quran 69-40)

And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe. (Quran 69:41)

Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. (Quran 69-42)

It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. (Quran 69-43)

Had he uttered any other teachings. (Quran 69-44)

We would have punished him. (Quran 69-45)

We would have stopped the revelations to him. (Quran 69-46)

None of you could have helped him. (Quran 69-47)

As Quranic injunctions are prophetic injunctions, then it follows that obeying Quranic injunctions meticulously, is obeying the Messenger. Therefore, the way to totally 'obey' the Messenger, is to be thoroughly knowledgeable of the Quran - always being mindful of its content, and upholding its teachings in all places and time - judging everything by it - and not accepting teachings that go against it, no matter how authentic it is alleged to be by a human being. Anything that goes against the Quran lacks all credibility, no matter how many people claim it to be genuine.

To further add, it is noted in the Quran that a certain people were not happy with the Prophet because they wanted something different from what was revealed in the Quran. In essence these are the very same people that, years after his death, deceivingly fabricated the texts of hadith:

"And they nearly diverted you from the revelations We have given you so that you would fabricate something different against Us, and then they would have taken you as a friend!" (Quran 17:73)

The Deception of Hadiths Proven by Sunnah.com

The Quran is Consistent, Hadiths are Inconsistent

Hadith books contain numerous more details than the Quran, though the vast majority of such details are contradictory. Are such details truly necessary or even helpful in anyway? How does a believer decide between conflicting details? Does he just pick the word of his favorite mullah? If we follow the words of a particular, favorite mullah, does that mean that we are really following the practice of the Prophet? For instance, you may find dozens of hadiths in Sahih Muslim narrating that the Prophet Muhammad read Surah Fatiha in his "ritual prayers" and then immediately bowed down, without reading any additional verses from the Quran, contradicting how most Muslims pray today. You will also find many other hadiths claiming that the Prophet read a certain chapter after Surah Fatiha. There are also many conflicting hadiths regarding ablution which is the source of different rituals among the sects of Islam. The texts of hadith, more or less, are compounding God's word with contradictory details, and cannot guide to the truth. It has become a necessary evil for ignorant followers and religionists who manipulate them.

Hadith books also narrate a silly story regarding the times of so-called "ritual prayers" (a concept nowhere mentioned in the Quran). The story of Mirage is one of the longest hadiths in the texts of Bukhari. Reportedly, after getting frequent advice from Moses by going up and down between levels in heaven, Muhammad negotiated with God to reduce the number of ritual daily prayers from 50 times a day (one prayer for every 28 minutes) to 5 times a day. This hadith portrays Muhammad as a compassionate union leader saving his people from God's unmerciful demands.

Hadiths Contradict the Quran

Picture

1. "Sahih" hadith states that adultery and fornication should be punishable by stoning to death.

Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 7543
In-book reference: Book 97, Hadith 168
USC-MSA web (English) reference: Vol. 9, Book 93, Hadith 633

While the Quran sees adultery as affecting the other partner in a marriage. It’s a betrayal and a breaking of an oath. But even then it placed very strict standards on that but was lenient when it came to punishing slanderers of women. Adultery needs four witnesses but the slanderer can get punished just from opening his mouth without having four witnesses. It’s clear that the verse made it very difficult to implement on adultery but very easy to implement on the slanderer. Thus why we see that the verses about adultery in chapter 24 are in fact dealing with slandering and not adultery. The Quran wanted to end slandering most likely because of the very common honor killing traditions in tribal societies back then. The Quran gave a symbolic penalty for adultery since any person would lie even under oath when facing lashes. The Quran allowed people to utter disbelief when under duress (16:106), so it knows people will lie to avoid lashing. A slanderer meanwhile needs to produce four witnesses or the penalty of flogging can fall on him. Which means he will have to lie when asked even if he saw something. The truth here is not relevant. Even when a spouse has witnessed something he has to swear but the other party also can swear. Most people as we know will simply lie to avoid the punishment since the punishment of this kind has torment in it. The person can simply repent instead. To make up for this we have the verses in chapter 4 which is the more practical way of dealing with it. The Quran here established that adultery is a major sin but made the penalty for it unpracticable. Its four times easier for a slanderer to get himself in trouble than an adulterer.

Further reading of the verses about the Zani (male adulterer) and Zania (female adulterer) shows us that the issue came up concerning slandering of one of the Prophet’s wife presumably.

2. "Sahih" hadith orders death penalty on apostates:

Some Zanadiqa (atheists) were brought to `Ali and he burnt them. The news of this event, reached Ibn `Abbas who said, "If I had been in his place, I would not have burnt them, as Allah's Messenger forbade it, saying, 'Do not punish anybody with Allah's punishment (fire).' I would have killed them according to the statement of Allah's Messenger, 'Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.'"

While the Quran says there is no compulsion in religion (2:256).

3. Quran says:

"Every soul is responsible only for his/her own work." (53:39)

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Abbas:

"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Had he been a Muslim and you had emancipated slaves on his behalf, or given sadaqah on his behalf, or performed the pilgrimage, that would have reached him."

4.  Quran says:

"Neither the Jews, nor the Christians, will accept you, unless you follow their religion. Say, 'God's guidance is the true guidance.' If you acquiesce to their wishes, despite the knowledge you have received, you will find no ally or supporter to help you against God." (2:120)

5. Quran says:

"I do not say to you that I possess the treasures of God. Nor do I know the unseen. Nor do I say to you that I am an angel. I simply follow what is revealed to me." Say, 'Is the blind the same as the seer? Do you not reflect?' " (6:50)

"I have no power to benefit myself, or harm myself. Only what God wills happens to me. If I knew the unseen, I would have increased my wealth, and no harm would have afflicted me. I am no more than a warner, and a bearer of good news for those who believe." (7:188)

"I do not claim that I possess the treasures of God, nor do I know the unseen, nor do I claim to be an angel. Nor do I say to those despised by your eyes that God will not bestow any blessings upon them. God knows best what is in their innermost thoughts. (If I did this) I would be a transgressor." (11:31)

Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established till a fire will come out of the land of Hijaz, and it will throw light on the necks of the camels at Busra."

Along with the hadiths above, there are hundreds more that describe the signs of the Day of Judgement (creating false characters like Imam Mahdi and Dajjal), which again, goes against the Quran which says that the Prophet does not know the unseen. Only God knows the unseen, as God has power and knowledge over all things. The whole chapter in Bukhari named "Afflictions and the End of the World" have been completely fabricated by the enemies of God. The same goes for every single hadith recorded that is outside of the Quran.

6. Quran says:

[23:102]  As for those whose weights are heavy, they will be the winners.
[23:103]  Those whose weights are light are the ones who lost their souls; they abide in Hell.
[99:7]  Whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it.
[99:8]  And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
[101:6]  As for him whose weights are heavy.
[101:7]  He will lead a happy (eternal) life.
[101:8]  As for him whose weights are light.
[101:9]  His destiny is lowly.

8. Women in hell

Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 1052
In-book reference: Book 16, Hadith 12
USC-MSA web (English) reference: Vol. 2, Book 18, Hadith 161

Narrated by Imran, the Prophet said; "I looked at hell and the majority of its dwellers were women".

In Sahih al-Bukhari, Book 2, Hadith 22, it is explained that the majority of hell is made up of women because they were not grateful to their husbands!

The Quran does not support the strange idea which implies that the criteria for attaining heaven is obedience or gratefulness to the husband. The only criteria for attaining heaven is belief in God, refraining from idol worship and observing righteousness. The above two hadith are obviously the product of the culture of Arabs in those days and how they treated women as inferior creatures who must always be subordinate to their husbands! Some Imams today still openly preach such false concepts. Many of them consider the woman to be a distraction and temptation for sin!

9. Dwellers of heaven are mostly poor

In-book reference: Book 59, Hadith 52
USC-MSA web (English) reference: Vol. 4, Book 54, Hadith 464

Narrated Usama: The Prophet said, "I stood at the gate of Paradise and saw that the majority of the people who entered it were the poor, while the wealthy were stopped at the gate (for the accounts). But the companions of the Fire were ordered to be taken to the Fire. Then I stood at the gate of the Fire and saw that the majority of those who entered it were women."

Here again is another hadith (considered authentic by most so-called Muslims and their puppet scholars) which clearly contradicts the Quran. The Quran teaches that the dwellers of Heaven are the most righteous. Righteousness is totally independent of the wealth of a person. This is because righteousness can be maintained through multiple means and not only through monetary spending. Moreover, the Quran teaches that God forgives all sins for those who refrain from idol worship (4:48) and who worship Him sincerely. This once again confirms that being poor or being rich will never send a person to hell nor save a person from hell.

10. Moses naked

Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 278
In-book reference: Book 5, Hadith 30
USC-MSA web (English) reference: Vol. 1, Book 5, Hadith 277

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, 'The (people of) Bani Israel used to take bath naked (all together) looking at each other. The Prophet Moses used to take a bath alone. They said, 'By Allah! Nothing prevents Moses from taking a bath with us except that he has a scrotal hernia.' So once Moses went out to take a bath and put his clothes over a stone and then that stone ran away with his clothes. Moses followed that stone saying, "My clothes, O stone! My clothes, O stone! till the people of Bani Israel saw him and said, 'By Allah, Moses has got no defect in his body. Moses took his clothes and began to beat the stone." Abu Huraira added, "By Allah! There are still six or seven marks present on the stone from that excessive beating."

The obvious question is: how can any person believe that the Prophet said such words?

11. Days of the week and creation

Reference: Sahih Muslim 2789
In-book reference: Book 52, Hadith 10
USC-MSA web (English) reference: Book 39, Hadith 6707

Abu Hurayra reported that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) took hold of my hands and said: "Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, created the clay on Saturday and He created the mountains on Sunday and He created the trees on Monday and He created the things entailing labour on Tuesday and created light on Wednesday and lie caused the animals to spread on Thursday and created Adam (peace be upon him) after 'Asr on Friday; the last creation at the last hour of the hours of Friday, i.e. between afternoon and night."

Another nonsense hadith that defies all scientific knowledge.

12. Wives easy route to heaven

Reference: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1161
In-book reference: Book 12, Hadith 16
English translation: Vol. 1, Book 7, Hadith 1161

Narrated Um Salma: The Messenger of God said; "If a woman dies while her husband was pleased with her, she will enter Paradise."

Needless to say, the Quranic criteria for admission to heaven is belief in God plus righteousness. Obedience to the husband is not a criteria anywhere in the Quran.

13. Complete nonsense

Reference: Sunan Abi Dawud 2459
In-book reference: Book 14, Hadith 147
English translation: Book 13, Hadith 2453

Narrated AbuSa'id al-Khudri: "A woman came to the Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) while we were with him.

She said: Apostle of Allah, my husband, Safwan ibn al-Mu'attal, beats me when I pray, and makes me break my fast when I keep a fast, and he does not offer the dawn prayer until the sun rises.

He asked Safwan, who was present, about what she had said. He replied: Apostle of Allah, as for her statement "he beats me when I pray", she recites two surahs (during prayer) and I have prohibited her (to do so).

He (the Prophet) said: If one surah is recited (during prayer), that is sufficient for the people.

(Safwan continued:) As regards her saying "he makes me break my fast," she dotes on fasting; I am a young man, I cannot restrain myself.

The Apostle of Allah said on that day: A woman should not fast except with the permission of her husband.

(Safwan said:) As for her statement that I do not pray until the sun rises, we are a people belonging to a class, and that (our profession of supplying water) is already known about us. We do not awake until the sun rises. He said: When you awake, offer your prayer."

Again we note the contradiction between some hadith and the Quran. Nowhere in the Quran is the husband given the authority to allow or prevent his wife from observing her religious duties! These duties are authorized by God and are totally independent of the relation between a man and his wife, or for that matter, any human relations.

14. God established on the throne on the seventh day

Al-Nesaay:

Abu Huraira said; "God created the Heavens and the Earth in six days then firmly established on the throne on the seventh day."

This seventh day addition is a manipulation of 7:54.

15. Why babies cry?

Reference: Sahih Muslim 2366 b
In-book reference: Book 43, Hadith 192
USC-MSA web (English) reference: Book 30, Hadith 5837

Abu Huraira said, the Messenger of God said; "Every newborn from the descendants of Adam is touched by Satan when born, and that is why he/she starts by crying. The only exception was Jesus and his mother."

16. Spit on left side after bad dream

Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 6986
In-book reference: Book 91, Hadith 5
USC-MSA web (English) reference: Vol. 9, Book 87, Hadith 115

Abu Qatada said the Prophet said: "The good dream is from God and the bad dream is from Satan. If one of you has a bad dream, you should spit on your left side and seek refuge in God from Satan."

No comment whatsoever.

17. When you spit rub it with left shoe

Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 414
In-book reference: Book 8, Hadith 64
USC-MSA web (English) reference: Vol. 1, Book 8, Hadith 406

Narrated Abu Sa`id:
The Prophet (ﷺ) saw sputum on (the wall of) the mosque in the direction of the Qibla and scraped it off with gravel. Then he forbade Spitting in front or on the right, but allowed it on one's left or under one's left foot.

Why on God's green earth would the Prophet Muhammad give directions of where and how to spit? And another question arises, why are people spitting during prayers anyway? Such nonsense!

18. Dip a fly in your food

Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 3320
In-book reference: Book 59, Hadith 126
USC-MSA web (English) reference: Vol. 4, Book 54, Hadith 537

Abu Hurayra said; the Messenger of God said; "If a fly falls in your drink, you should immerse it completely in the drink, because in one of the wings is the disease and in the other wing is the healing."

19. Terrorist groups like ISIS and Al Qaeda follow hadith

Sunan Abu Dawud 4356 (Prescribed Punishments, Kitab Al-Hudud):

Some people raided the camels of the Prophet (peace be upon him), drove them off, and apostatized. They killed the herdsman of the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) who was a believer. He (the Prophet) sent (people) in pursuit of them and they were caught. He had their hands and feet cut off, and their eyes put out. The verse regarding fighting against Allah and His Prophet (peace be upon him) was then revealed. These were the people about whom Anas ibn Malik informed al-Hajjaj when he asked him.

Sunan Abu Dawud 4339 (Prescribed Punishments, Kitab Al-Hudud):

The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The blood of a Muslim man who testifies that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle should not lawfully be shed except only for one of three reasons: a man who committed fornication after marriage, in which case he should be stoned; one who goes forth to fight with Allah and His Apostle, in which case he should be killed or crucified or exiled from the land; or one who commits murder for which he is killed."

As you can clearly see from the barbaric statements above, evil terrorist groups like ISIS blindly follow hadith as their guidance. So for the majority of Muslims that denounce ISIS, they should first denounce the so called "sahih" hadith that promotes this type of demonic behavior. These fabricated collections of hadith make the Prophet look like a crazed madman, of which he clearly is not. Allah the All-Mighty calls the Prophet "a mercy for all of mankind." (21:107).

20. Drink camel urine

Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 5686
In-book reference: Book 76, Hadith 9
USC-MSA web (English) reference: Vol. 7, Book 71, Hadith 590

Narrated Anas: The climate of Medina did not suit some people, so the Prophet ordered them to follow his shepherd, i.e. his camels, and drink their milk and urine.

21. Burn down the houses of people who don't pray

Reference: Sahih al-Bukhari 2420
In-book reference: Book 44, Hadith 10
USC-MSA web (English) reference: Vol. 3, Book 41, Hadith 602

The Prophet (SAW) said, "No doubt, I intended to order somebody to pronounce the Iqama of the (compulsory congregational) prayer and then I would go to the houses of those who do not attend the prayer and burn their houses over them."

This same fabricated hadith is also listed in Sunan Abi Dawud's collection:

Reference: Sunan Abi Dawud 548
In-book reference: Book 2, Hadith 158
English translation: Book 2, Hadith 548

“The Messenger of Allah said: 'Let men desist from failing to attend the congregation, otherwise I will burn their houses down.' "

Conclusion

An explanation of all things - Quran
Above were just a few shocking examples we find in the supposed "authentic" hadith books. Those who refuse to discard the texts of Hadith and try to find a way in between only remove the cancer partially.

Most Muslims who are given a chance to follow the path of the Quran alone refuse to purify their faith because of lack of sincerity and/or social pressure. The incredible irony is that the very same people who have accepted hadiths, would have essentially been horrified by them, if they had been born in a different family, in a different religion, in a different culture.

Would you delegate the interpretation of the law in your society to a serial killer who stones to death the adulterer, kills the apostates, burns people who refuse to pray, mutilates women and marries 6 year olds? Well, for much of the Islamic world, they actually do, and it certainly shows! Rather, to be successful in this world and the one to come, such interpretations must be entirely discarded and never brought back to existence, for the sake of humanity as a whole.

Interestingly, a profound prophecy given by God in the Quran tells us how Satan and his allies will fabricate "fancy words" and attribute them to the prophets of God, and how many will uphold such falsehoods:

"We have permitted the enemies of every prophet - human and jinn devils - to inspire to each other fancy words, in order to deceive. Had your Lord willed, they would not have done it. You shall disregard them and their fabrications. This is to let the minds of those who do not believe in the Hereafter listen to such fabrications, and accept them, and thus expose their real convictions." (Quran 6:112-113)

Those that follow hadith:

"But there is a sort of person who pays for distracting Hadith (حَدِيث), intending, without knowledge, to lead others away from God's way, and to make a mockery of it. These will have a humiliating punishment! And when Our Verses are recited to such a person, he turns away arrogantly, as if he had not heard them! As if there were heaviness in his ears! Give him good news of a painful punishment!" (Quran 31:6-7)

"These are the verses of God that We recite to you with truth. Then in what Hadith (حَدِيث) after God and His verses will they believe?" (Quran 45:6)

Why most Muslims don't accept the Quran alone:

When they are told: 'Follow what God has sent down to you,' they say: 'We are following what we found our fathers doing.' (Quran: 2:170)

As seen from above, the countless hadith and tafsir works clearly contradict the Quran and thus should be classified as fabrications, regardless of them being "sahih" or not. The hadith where the Prophet talks about kissing his 6 year old wife Aisha and sucking her tongue is considered "sahih", and so is the hadith that suggests that he was gifted with the sexual stamina of 30 men is also considered "sahih". All such examples that we've listed have been stamped as "sahih" by the major Islamic scholars.

In the course of this study, we've proven how blatantly contradictory the teachings of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim are when brought to scrutiny with regards to the Quran, and how such statements they've attributed to the Prophet are in fact completely false as the Quran reaffirms that the Prophet would have been destroyed if he issued a teaching that contradicts the Quran.

Of course, it follows: what is the purpose of protecting the Quran from corruption, if its meanings can only be reached through corruptible sources, such as hadith or tafsir works developed 200 years after the Prophet's death? There would be no point as the purpose would be defeated. Therefore, it only adds more sense to why God has contained the Quran's interpretation within the Quran itself, just as God states in the verses.

We read in the Quran that God has promised to protect His final revelation from any form of corruption. Ultimately, this gives you true confidence that when you need guidance, you turn to the Quran, and not your mullah. Those who wish to divert you from the Quran have the tactic to take verses and manipulate them according to their liking, or by subversion through the fabrication of secondary sources that actually erode and dismantle the Quran's teachings.

In conclusion, God specifically tells us that the Quran is complete and fully detailed, and any secondary fabrications become strikingly obvious to a genuine follower of the Quran; the truth is truly no match for falsehood:

"And We have revealed the Book to you which has clear explanation of everything, and a guidance, mercy and good news for those who submit." (Quran 16:89)

"We have cited in this Quran every example for the people. But the human being is always most argumentative." (Quran 18:54)

“Shall I then seek a Judge other than God? When  it is He Who has revealed to you the Book fully detailed?” (Quran 6:114)

"Alif Lam Ra. These are the signs of the Scripture, and a clear Quran." (Quran 15:1)

"Should We treat the ones who have surrendered the same as those who are criminals? What is wrong with you, how do you judge? Or do you have another book which you study? In it you find whatever you wish to find?" (Quran 68:36-38)

“The words of your Lord are complete in its truth and justice. Nothing can change His words – He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. If you obeyed most of those on earth, they would lead you away from the path of God. They follow nothing but speculation – they are merely guessing.” (Quran 6:115-116)

"And we place shields over their hearts, that they should not understand it, and a deafness in their ears. And if you mention your Lord in the Quran alone, they run away turning their backs in aversion." (Quran 17:46)

"We have sent down to you a Book containing your message. Do you not understand?" (Quran 21:10)
